As you heard, PT Money and I went out and did a little junkin' on Saturday morning. PT has written up a great post on the adventure. Check it out! You gotta love the big round pink bed! Where do you buy sheets for that thing anyway? We were laughing pretty hard at that one! In honor of PT writing up such a great article, I thought I'd share an estate sale find from Phil's home state team that I picked up a few years ago. It's a New Orleans Saints Riddell Helmet plaque. I picked it up for $37.50 and sold it on Ebay for $90.00. I maybe should have held on to that thing because the Saints are on fire right now and it is probably worth more. I also picked up a New York Jets one the same day for the same price but on Ebay it went for $140.00.

Alamo Drawing
.jpg)
Here's a quick drawing I did yesterday. I used sharpie on a 4 x 6 note card. I'm running a 5K this morning. That is why I am up so early. So wish me luck. I've been training since January.......kind of a New Years Resolution thing. As I write this I can hear the wind howling outside.....hopefully that dies down. If I post tomorrow you will know that I have survived.
P.S. On the running tip. I go get fitted for some new running shoes last week by some professionals at a specialty running store in Dallas and find the perfect pair of shoes. The sales lady lets me know that they are on sale for $110, originally $125.....what a deal right?? NOT. I go on my way, get home, look em up on EBAY. Find a slightly used pair....that look brand new in the pictures.....and I proceed to win them yesterday for............................$19.00! Did I mention I love EBAY? They'll be here next week.

Throwback Thursday - U.S. Puzzle Map
My wife and I really enjoy going to antique stores, flea markets, estate sales, etc. It's one of the things we do together a lot. While visiting family in Castle Rock, Colorado over the Christmas break we decided to head to downtown Castle Rock to do some junkin' as we call it. In one of the antique stores we saw some really cool refrigerator magnets made out of old wooden U.S. puzzle pieces. So what do we do? Get on EBAY of course! Did I mention that I love EBAY? I always look there first for anything I want to buy. I also sell stuff. junkytrinket is my screen name. Save me as a favorite seller. Anyways, I find this old puzzle from the 1940's or 50's....end up winning it for $7.95. This map is old! It still shows the Philippine Islands on there! My son and I put it together last night and Ohio and South Carolina are missing.........oh well, I can do without Ohio, but SC....come on! Long story short.....my wife and I are going to make some state magnets. I'll post them when we finish some. Also, let me know if any of y'all are interested in any particular state. I can maybe send ya one. Sorry but I'm calling dibs on Texas, California, Colorado, and New Mexico.
