New Commission
Here is a current work in progress that I am doing for a friend of mine. It is an 11 x 14 Ebony pencil drawing of his father. He will be giving this to his dad as a birthday gift. I still have some work to do on this one as far as some of the value ranges go. I'll post the finished product when its complete.

Old New Mexico Chapel - Sketchbook
Here is a sketchbook entry from a little while back. I basically just came up with this image in my head and put it down. I imagine this scene somewhere in the foothills of New Mexico. It measures 5 x 7. I wish I was there now actually.

Wednesday Works - Cowboy Sketches
Well, it's an ice day here in Texas so no school today. I'm gonna keep it simple today. Maybe I can actually get some painting done.......but watching my 6 year old while my wife works may throw a wrench in that. I see Legos and The Brady Bunch in my future....which is fun too. These are some sketches I did on the same day I did the mission sketches....while sitting in a meeting. I'm thinking about doing something on a large scale with the cowboy theme. I guess we'll see.
