Where do you buy sheets for that thing anyway? We were laughing pretty hard at that one! In honor of PT writing up such a great article, I thought I'd share an estate sale find from Phil's home state team that I picked up a few years ago. It's a New Orleans Saints Riddell Helmet plaque. I picked it up for $37.50 and sold it on Ebay for $90.00. I maybe should have held on to that thing because the Saints are on fire right now and it is probably worth more. I also picked up a New York Jets one the same day for the same price but on Ebay it went for $140.00.

Take an old frame.

Paint it white.

Buy a piece of masonite board to fit.

Spray paint it with black chalkboard paint.

Write your favorite team's schedule with chalk (neatly of course).

Display for all to see.

Here is a sketch I did two years ago of an old Frisco High football player. It is 5 x 7 and done in pencil.

In the spirit of college football starting this week, I present a colored pencil drawing that I did eight years ago. It won the Collin County, Texas Art Show - Overall Drawing Division five years ago. I won $50. It is the only artwork that I've ever entered in a contest. So I'm one for one. It now hangs in my son's room above his bed. A few of my buddies that are big Arkansas Razorback fans have color copies. This is probably my favorite sports drawing that I've ever done. This one took a while to complete. Let me know if you would like a 12 x 16 giclee print of this drawing. I sell them for $45 each.
